TAROCCHI: The Vogue Tarot

I've been scouring over the internet specifically pertaining about fashion blogs, mags and other related stuff. Then I bumped myself to the ITALIAN VOGUE labelled as the BEST Vogue magazine in the entire spectra of the world....

I thought it was cute, thus i posted it here. It's like having your fortune examined(by a fortuneteller of course) in the most fashionable way...

Enjoy!!!!

The Cliff

The norms of society, as always, has dictated every living baffled consciousness in our crazy planet.
I  bet everyone of us has been asked by a disgruntled parent, irate teacher or responsible adult of any kind – “So if they jumped off a cliff would you do it to?” The answer would invariably be yes, because everyone likes to think that they’re cool and if jumping off a 100 feet high cliff would make you cool, then, who am I to care about there abominable life.
To put it simply, do we follow the crowd, or do we remain the individual

-lookbook photos-

Fashion is not just a tool to make other people die out of jealousy nor to make a good impression but rather, fashion is a non-verbal way of expressing one's hidden thoughts. I extremely agree that fashion was conceived to accommodate individualism and to serve as an indirect outlet of emotions.

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, and what is happening. The only rule is don't be boring and dress cute wherever you go. Life is too short to blend in. I mean, we need not blend. We should not blend.

Fashion has always been and will always be my favorite. It gives me the opportunity to express myself in a non-verbal fashionable way. At the end of the day, it's not what you you wear, its HOW YOU WEAR the garment.
TOODLES!!!

yeah right!!!!!!!!

Cholesterol melodrama

When it comes to food, not all glitters, are good. Taking for example my lunch for the day. Pork humba.

Humba is one hell of an appetite motivator. Yes! For a food slave like me, its like an everyday GAAADDD!!!!! The sumptous decadence of each alluring shiny bite would spin my head like a crazy abominable swine, tempt me to abandon my goddamn DIET and would threat me to eternal obesity.

Who could resist a meal that has eyes that would pierce through your very soul and would constantly call you in whispers seeking oral and gastronomical justice? So, let justice be served. EAT! TASTE! DIE! (the last part was kind of an exageration?) But mind me, every gastric opportunity is a gift. Not all of us has the privilige to feast (cause some don’t have teeth) on such a glorious meal.

This slow braised pork belly is coated in a sweet glaze of panocha or palm sugar and given depth of flavor with the addition of soy sauce, salted black beans, and star anise. Although this dish finds its local roots in the Eastern provinces of Samar and Leyte, just by casually perusing the ingredients listed below, it is clear that this “local” dish has origins beyond our own shores.

Believe me, food is good. It only becomes bad when consumed improperly. As they say too much is nevertheless unbenificial. We eat to sustain our body’s needs. We eat to satisfy not just our cravings but also our nutritional requirments. Eat. Live. Love.

Bon appetit!!

fashion saint

Lady gaga is one "HELL" of a saint. Yes! I'm not being sacrilegious or sumthin', it's just that she is a walking AVANT GARDE..

People may think she is weird, but let's face it, people who adore fashion belongs to the minority. What we think as stunningly gorgeous means a whole lot of migraine for the layman.
